Women TechEU 2 EIC is an EU-funded project designed to support women-led early-stage deep tech startups from Europe. Through the programme, selected startups will receive €75,000 in non-dilutive funding, together with a personalised business development programme including mentoring, coaching and training.

 

The new Women TechEU 2 EIC call will follow a two-stage application process. Applicants must first complete the Eligibility Strand to verify that they meet the programme’s participation requirements. Eligible applicants will then be invited to submit a Full Proposal.

 

Women TechEU 2 EIC – Eligibility Strand

 

Opening date: 1 June 2026
Cut-off dates: Weekly cut-offs every Tuesday at 17:00 CE(S)T, Brussels time
First cut-off: 30 June 2026 at 17:00 CEST
Final cut-off: 14 June 2027 at 17:00 CEST

 

The Eligibility Strand is the first step in the Women TechEU application process. It is designed to confirm whether applicants comply with the programme’s eligibility requirements before progressing to the Full Proposal stage.

 

Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the Guidelines for Applicants carefully before applying and to submit their eligibility application well in advance of the relevant cut-off date. Results of the eligibility check will be communicated through the Sploro Platform no later than one week after the cut-off to which the application was submitted

Opening date: 15 July 2026
Deadline: 4 total submission dates between 2026-2027.
Submission deadline 5: 16 September 2026 at 17:00 CEST (Brussels Time)

Submission deadline 6: 14 January 2027 at 17:00 CEST (Brussels Time)

Submission deadline 7: 1 April 2027 at 17:00 CEST (Brussels Time)

Submission deadline 8: 8 July 2027 at 17:00 CEST (Brussels Time)

 

The Full Proposal is the second step in the Women TechEU application process. It is ONLY open to applicants who have been assessed eligible after submitting the Eligibility Strand application (above). Access to the application form platform will be provided to Eligible applicants via a link in their Eligibilty Confirmation letter. 
 

Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the Guidelines for Applicants very carefully before preparing and submitting their Full Proposal application. To avoid technical issues occurring from the high volume experienced on deadline days, you are encouraged to submit your proposal at least two days before the submission deadline. The communication of the Full Proposal Evaluation’s final results to all the applicants will be sent in max 8 weeks after submission deadline

Women TechEU is looking for independent evaluators who can assess the quality of the received applications.Applicants will be selected based on their competences and the requirements for the Full Proposal evaluation.Applicants are advised to carefully read the Guidelines for Evaluators and follow the application form published below to check if they qualify.

Women TechEU is looking for independent experienced women mentors to support promising women-led deep tech startups across Europe.Applicants will be selected based on their expertise, their availability, and the specific needs of participating startups. Successful applicants who achieve the required evaluation threshold will be invited to join the Women TechEU mentor pool.Applicants are advised to carefully read the Selection Process Guidelines and the information on our website.
