Women TechEU

Women TechEU Programme of Services

Women TechEU is designed to help women-led deep tech startups accelerate their growth through a tailored combination of funding, mentoring, training, visibility, and community support. Beyond the €75,000 equity-free grant, our awardees will gain access to a personalised business development programme designed to strengthen leadership, investment readiness, and market expansion.

All services are adapted to the specific growth stage and needs of each startup, and delivered to the different cohorts thanks to our consortium partners, associated partners and allies. The following is a list of all the different services available as part of our programme.

Tailored Mentorship by Women, for Women

The awardees will be matched with experienced women mentors who understand the unique challenges faced by women founders in deep tech. Through tailored mentoring sessions, participants will receive strategic guidance, practical advice, and ongoing support to help them navigate critical business decisions and accelerate growth.

The mentoring programme has been strengthened with a 20% increase in mentoring hours compared to the previous implementation, enabling deeper and more impactful founder support.

Investor & Export Readiness

Women TechEU will support startups in preparing for fundraising and international growth opportunities.

Participants will receive expert guidance to refine their investor pitch decks, strengthen storytelling, and rehearse presentations with experienced professionals and investor-facing experts. The programme will also assess each startup’s readiness for market expansion through structured evaluations covering team, product, finance, operations, intellectual property, and market positioning.

These activities are designed to help founders build confidence, sharpen their business strategy, and successfully engage with investors, clients, and partners.

CEO Skills & Leadership Development

Building a successful startup requires more than technical excellence. Women TechEU will provide dedicated training on essential entrepreneurial and leadership skills, including public speaking, communication, negotiation, presentation techniques, and leadership development.

Delivered through a blended learning approach combining live workshops, masterclasses and online materials, the programme aims to empower founders to become confident and effective leaders capable of scaling their businesses internationally.

Sales Strategies & Go-to-Market Support

Strong commercial execution is critical for startup success. Beneficiaries will receive practical support to strengthen their go-to-market strategies, sales pipelines, pricing models, and customer engagement approaches.

The programme will help founders better understand how to identify leads, position their solutions, communicate value effectively, and confidently approach commercial opportunities.

Environmental Impact Assessment

Sustainability and environmental impact are becoming increasingly important factors for investors, customers, and regulators.

Through a dedicated environmental impact assessment service, startups will gain access to tools and expert support to evaluate the climate and sustainability impact of their innovations using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)-based methodologies.

Participants will be able to explore opportunities to reduce CO2eq emissions, improve resource efficiency, and design more sustainable deep tech business models from the outset.

Access to High-Impact European Events

Women TechEU beneficiaries will gain visibility and business development opportunities through opportunities for participation in major European innovation and startup events, including:

  • PODIM (Slovenia)
  • Deep Tech CEE Summit (Poland)
  • MIT Review Greece (via KTM)

Together, these events attract more than 6,200 attendees from across the European innovation ecosystem.

Participants will benefit from exhibition opportunities, pitching sessions, targeted matchmaking with investors and clients, dedicated communication support, and direct access to influential ecosystem actors.

Local Chapters & Alumni Community

To strengthen long-term collaboration and peer support, Women TechEU will establish and maintain a network of at least 10 local chapters across Europe, with a particular focus on Widening countries.

The initiative will also include all the Women TechEU Alumni community (from all previous iterations of the programme) creating a lasting network for collaboration, peer exchange, and continued learning beyond the programme itself.

Activities will include informal networking sessions, expert-led workshops, peer meetings, and annual alumni gatherings connected to major European ecosystem events.
